About Us

The Niagara Senior Men’s Tour is a “not for profit” golf Tour originated by a number of competitive golfers from Rockway Vineyards Golf Club who recognized that there is a high demand for a fun and competitive golf Tour for senior men in the Niagara Region.

The Tour was formed in 2020 with the inaugural event held at Rockway Vineyards in September 2020.  The field consisted of 80 senior competitive and mostly low handicap players who were very pleased with the quality and organization of the tournament.

Our goal is to provide local senior golfers with a high quality competitive golf Tour suited to golfers who are 55 years or older who wish to continue playing tournament golf.

Our plan is to align our Tour with top-quality local golf courses and to secure sponsorships with companies that provide similar high quality products and services.

Our first full season will begin in the spring of 2021 with 5 events planned throughout the year. We have verbally secured 5 top notch courses including Bridgewater Golf & Country Club, Grand Niagara Golf Club, Legends on the Niagara, Rockway Vineyards Golf Club, and Sawmill Golf Club.

The Tour is primarily offering golf and prizes for low gross scores, closest to the pin, and gross skins mainly targeting low handicap players. We will also provide some low net prizes for the higher handicap players.

Because the majority of our participants are well established professionals or retired, we will be hosting all events on Mondays between 11am-2pm, which helps us reduce the cost of the golf course fees.

All Tour results will be submitted to both the St Catharines Standard and Niagara This Week, helping to raise the profile of both the Tour and our sponsors.

Ultimately, our goal is to provide a competitive Tour for our players that is well organized and enjoyable for our participants.  We plan to not only maintain, but grow this tour for many years and we recognize that the success of the Tour depends on hard work and our ability as a committee to plan and organize each and every event, very well.
